The Month of May

On Thursday 27th April Elenia Saleem, Ashley Duong, Amanda Dawood & Mya Lapierre-Walkley attended the Human Rights forum for Youth Week, run by Fairfield City Council and the Whitlam Library at Cabramatta. The forum engaged students from schools in the Fairfield area in reviewing The Human Rights Game with regard to Human Rights, Ethics, Democracy and legal rights of marginalised people. Students evaluated the game and the importance of Human Rights, presenting their thoughts and ideas to the Human Rights Commissioner Lorraine Finlay, Brainary director Hugh Kingsley and the Hon. Sarah Mitchell, MLC, NSW Education Minister.
