The Solo Chef

As we have returned to school under new circumstances the students in Year 8 Technology have modified their food preparation methods. The workload is no longer shared in pairs, rather the measuring, preparation and cleaning is all a one woman show.

Our students have impressed their teachers and themselves with their solo production of some delicious scones and banana smoothies in a quick review of hygiene and work practices that must be adhered to in the food technology lab.

The benefit of working independently is that the students get to appreciate the rewards all to themselves, all of them agreeing that a scone for morning tea was the best feature of their return to school.
