Important Messages

Week 2 marks the exciting commencement of Monte Volleyball, along with the return of IGSA and IPSHA Saturday sport fixtures. It is fantastic to see the winter season underway, with students playing across a wide range of winter sports.

Junior School Hockey will take place at home on the MLC School sports fields, while many students will be representing the school for the first time in netball competitions at SOPAC Sports Halls among various other venues across Sydney. We wish all our netballers the very best for the season ahead. Several basketball teams will also travel to Frensham this weekend, and we look forward to strong performances from our football and hockey teams.

MLC School Football continues to build momentum, with recent successes in the Bill Turner U15s and CIS Cup U18s, both securing wins against Meriden and IGS last week.

We wish our IGSA Swimming and Diving representatives the very best at the NSW CIS Championships, along with our Senior School Cross Country team travelling to Frensham next Friday.

Following a highly successful term break, this week’s newsletter highlights achievements in aquatic sports. Next week, we look forward to sharing updates from Athletics Nationals, IGSA netball, football and volleyball trialists, as well as successes in hockey and fencing.
