Fort Street Chamber Choir to Perform at the White Bay Power Station on 16 August

The Fort Street Chamber Choir will be reprising their performance of Ola Gjeilo’s ‘Dreamweaver’ with Harmoni Chamber Choir in White Bay Power Station as part of the Inner West Choral Festival: Sing Out. The event will feature rolling performances from 11am to 5pm. Everyone is welcome!

Date: Sunday 16 August

Chamber Choir Performance Time: 2:20pm

Congratulations to Flint F (Year 9) who has been a member of the Arts Unit Boys Vocal Program in 2026. This program includes vocal training, songwriting, and professional recording experience with students from across NSW.

Auditions for Sydney Youth Orchestras 2027 ensembles are now open!

SYO is a community that brings together young musicians, supporting their musical and creative development whilst connecting them with like-minded peers. From their first ensemble experience to pre-professional orchestral playing, there’s a place for every young person at SYO.

National Songwriting Competition – entries close September!

Launched in April, entries for the 24th Annual National Songwriting Competition are closing on Monday 21 September.

Budding producers, solo writers and bands are encouraged to submit their work. Exceptional secondary entries can win studio recording time at AIM to launch their music pathways.

The competition is free to enter with over $30,000 in prizes.

Finalists will have their work heard and evaluated by an extraordinary panel of industry leaders, educators, and iconic artists including: Don Spencer OAM, Justine Clarke, conductor George Ellis, hit producer Vince Pizzinga, Poppy Reid (Editor-in-Chief, Rolling Stone Australia), former NSC winner Bailey Pickles, and senior representatives from Music Australia, AMPAL, APRA AMCOS, and the CEO of AIM.
