Archbishop’s Award for Student Excellence

Brigid is a compassionate, faith‑driven leader whose commitment to the Catholic community is evident through her involvement in parish life, youth ministry and service. Through the Youth Group at St Brigid’s, Marrickville, she has deepened her faith, built strong connections and grown in confidence while embodying her catholic values. For more than five years, she has volunteered with St Vincent de Paul Marrickville, supporting their Christmas and Winter Appeals, and assisting families experiencing hardship with dignity.

Within St Brigid’s parish, she contributes to Children’s Liturgy, parish events and initiatives supporting people with disabilities. She has enriched the Church’s prayer life by helping lead the Stations of the Cross, participating in First Saturday devotions and serving as a reflection reader during Holy Thursday Mass. At school, Brigid supports liturgies by being an active choir member, assisting with technology at masses, and regularly attending Mass, while leading with humility as Senior Captain. Her commitment to social justice is evident through her support and participation in One Meal, Vinnies Sleepouts, the 10:10 project, and preparing Zonta Care packages. She has recently been recognised for her service by being awarded the Insieme Gold Service Award in 2025.
