SRC in the Primary School

In Week 8, the Primary School celebrated Harmony Week, which had the theme of ‘Everyone Belongs’. The Student Representatives enjoyed providing their Form Classes with a variety of activities to support the initiative over the week, and loved leading some related activities to reinforce belonging, harmony, diversity, and inclusivity.

We also enjoyed promoting an additional poster competition as part an Australia wide initiative, ‘Moving Forward Together’, where students were encouraged to create a visual representation of their understanding of the theme.

The Primary team met with the girls in the Secondary School SRC to discuss some ideas, as well as inviting them to assist us with our activities in Form Classes and hand out some orange ribbons.

We loved participating in these activities as a reminder to include others and embrace diversity every day at SCEGGS.
