Festival on Forbes
Welcome back to Term 3! We hope you had a restful break and took some time to get ready for the fabulous Festival on Forbes on Sunday 23 August.
With just over four weeks until the Fair, we are counting on your support to make it a fantastic day for our entire community! Your contributions, no matter how big or small, will play a crucial role in making this event a success.
Here is how you can contribute:
Calling all bakers – Join the Great 100 Bake!
Our Year 5 Cake Stall invites our wonderful school community to roll out their rolling pins, whirl their whisks and bake up a storm for the Festival on Forbes.
Whether you’re a skilled baker or simply love whipping up your favourite treats, this is a fantastic way to get involved, contribute, and help us create an amazing and varied cake stall.
To help us coordinate all the delicious contributions please “pledge” what you will be baking on The Great 100 Bake microsite.
A special thank you to Class Parent Patrick Devlin for creating this fun and convenient site!
Details about cake box distribution will be shared in due course.

Gourmet Pantry
We’re excited to make the 2026 Gourmet Pantry the best one yet – and we can’t do it without the incredible support of our community!

Donate to our Stalls
Many of our stalls rely on donations to be successful. Here’s how you can help:
- Vintage designer fashion, shoes, bags, accessories in excellent, wearable condition
- Your well-loved, but in great condition sports equipment including everything from wetsuits to surfboards, yoga mats and bikes for example
- Clothes and accessories either new and unused or worn but cared for
- Books, all genres and audiences
- Prizes for the Silent Auction
- Prizes for the Chocolate Wheel and Coin Toss – we would love everything from toys to wine
