For more than 43 years, Hoskins Hall has been the heart of Oxley College.
Named in honour of Don Hoskins, Oxley’s founding Chair of the Board of Governors, the Hall stands as a tribute to the vision, commitment and generosity that helped bring the College to life. Don and the Hoskins family worked tirelessly towards the establishment of Oxley, giving their time, energy and support to create a school that would serve generations of young people in the Southern Highlands. Their legacy lives on in the thriving community that Oxley has become.
Since those earliest days, Hoskins Hall has been woven into the story of the College. It has hosted assemblies, performances, celebrations, speeches, concerts and milestone moments. In Oxley’s early years, every student and family could fit inside for Speech Night. While our community has grown significantly since then, Hoskins Hall remains the place where the Oxley story comes together.
Today, Hoskins Hall is entering a new chapter.
Its revitalisation will transform this much-loved space into a contemporary and highly flexible venue, with moveable seating, retractable walls and adaptable floorplans that will allow it to evolve with the needs of future generations. While much will change, its purpose will remain the same: to be the place where our community gathers, celebrates, learns and belongs.
