Visual Arts News

Congratulations to Alyka in Year 9, our inaugural Artist of the Month. Alyka’s expressive landscape paintings are now proudly showcased in the library foyer, marking a wonderful beginning to our new rotating Artist of the Month display. Alongside this celebration, our Year 9 students have been applying their knowledge of intaglio drypoint etching using the unexpected material of tetrapak, transforming it into striking architectural representations. Their works capture both our school’s built environment and cathedrals connected to our foundress’ birthplace, including the beautiful city of Lyon, France.
