SWAP Art Prize
Congratulations to Year 10 Visual Arts students Allegra, Kaysie, Eva, Annabelle and Gabriella, whose upcycled wearable artworks have been selected for exhibition in the 2026 Sustainable Waste 2 Art Prize (SWAP).
SWAP is an environmental art competition that promotes sustainability through artworks and design objects made from upcycled waste materials. This year, more than $5,000 in prizes are on offer across multiple categories, with around 80 shortlisted works selected for exhibition.
The exhibition will be held at See Street Gallery from Friday 4 September to Saturday 19 September 2026, and will be open 11.00am to 4.00pm, Tuesday to Saturday (closed Sundays and Mondays).
Our students’ wearable art pieces demonstrate outstanding creativity, innovation and a thoughtful approach to sustainability, transforming discarded materials into striking works of art. Their selection for exhibition is a wonderful recognition of their talent and dedication.
We are extremely proud of Allegra, Kaysie, Eva, Annabelle and Gabriella and wish them every success in the exhibition.
