Chaplains Corner

As we come to the end of another busy and full week, we pause with gratitude for the many ways learning, care, encouragement, and community have been shared across our School. Each week brings its own rhythm of challenges and blessings, and within it we continue to see the quiet seeds of kindness, courage, compassion, respect, integrity, and growth being planted in the lives of our students.

 

This week has reminded us that growth often happens in small and faithful ways: in a word of encouragement offered at the right time, in a student showing resilience through a difficult task, in staff walking alongside young people with patience and wisdom, and in families supporting each child with love and hope. These moments may seem ordinary, yet they are the very places where character, confidence, and faith are nurtured.

 

As we look ahead to next week, we hold especially in our thoughts and prayers our Year 12 students as they sit their Trial Examinations. This can be a demanding and emotional season, not only for students but also for their families and teachers. We pray that each student will feel supported, calm, and grounded, remembering that their worth is not measured by a mark or a result, but by the gifts, courage, and character they carry within them.

 

May this weekend offer rest, renewal, and gentle preparation. May our Year 12 students know that they are surrounded by a community that believes in them, prays for them, and walks with them with compassion and hope.

 

 

Loving God, we bring before you our Year 12 students as they prepare to sit their Trial Examinations next week. Surround them with your peace when they feel anxious, your strength when they feel tired, and your wisdom when they need clarity and focus.

 

Help them to trust in the work they have done, the support they have received, and the gifts you have placed within them. May they approach each examination with courage, calm, and confidence. Remind them that they are deeply valued, not because of what they achieve, but because of who they are.

 

Bless their teachers, families, and friends who encourage and support them in this important season. May our whole School community continue to hold them with compassion, patience, and hope.
