2020 Young Scientist Award

Congratulations to Riki Leamon (Fortian 2020) who received a 2020 Young Scientist Award from the NSW Scientist Teachers Association for her Year 12 depth study:
“The Effects of Land Clearing and Fragmentation in Eastern Australia”
Riki carried out an investigation into the impacts of land clearing and how this has led to the degradation of native habitats and ecosystems.
Additionally, Riki conducted an analysis of how this topic is portrayed in the media.  Riki received $200 in prize money.
