ToucanTech: Enabling smarter community engagement

The SA/NT Chapter of Educate Plus is proud to have partnered with ToucanTech to support its members to deliver smarter community engagement.

A system for Alumni, Development, Admissions and Marketing and Communications professionals, Merryn Parks, Director of ToucanTech Asia Pacific said that “ToucanTech is thrilled to partner with Educate Plus to assist secondary and tertiary educational institutions to connect with their communities and manage the lifecycle of alumni, donors and past, current and future parents”.

“Designed for growing smarter communities, ToucanTech supports Advancement professionals through its customisable website and database solution for tracking engagement and the ability for customers to employ best practice in their local setting”.

The fastest growing software provider in the alumni and fundraising space, ToucanTech now operates in over 23 countries across the globe. They have over 250 schools and customers across the world and in the past 18 months have tripled the number of educational institutions they work with in Australia.

The impact of COVID has challenged the ability of educational institutions to engage and connect with their communities. ToucanTech has the ability to breakdown this barrier by engaging communities on a deeper level through networking, mentoring, events, special interest groups and a jobs board.

St Peter’s College in Adelaide is preparing to launch ToucanTech in the coming months to broaden the reach and engagement of its old scholar community.

Beck Healy, Development Manager at St Peter’s College said, “St Peter’s College is excited to launch the ToucanTech platform and engage our community of 11,000 old scholars living across the globe in new and meaningful ways”.

“Our community is one of our greatest strengths and we look forward to providing old scholars with the ability to network, build professional contacts, peruse a careers board and connect via geographical location, peer year, clubs and special interest groups”.
