QLD CHAPTER COFFEE CATCH-UPS
Across South-East Queensland, our educate+ Queensland members recently took a well-earned break from their busy schedules to connect over coffee, conversation and community.

From Brisbane to the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba, our latest coffee catch-ups brought together advancement professionals from across the education sector to share ideas, strengthen networks and reconnect with colleagues in an informal setting.

These gatherings are a reminder that some of the best professional development happens through meaningful conversations and the generosity of members sharing their experiences with one another.

QLD CHAPTER SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP

Another fantastic morning of professional learning, collaboration and connection at the educate+ Queensland Chapter’s May Special Interest Groups.

The event opened with an engaging In Conversation facilitated by Vice-President, Helen Turner, featuring Sarah Campbell, Mikaeli Costello and Luke Toebelmann, who explored The Modern Advancement Engine: What’s Driving Growth in 2026 and Beyond?

Members then moved into collaborative Special Interest Group discussions focused on:

• Admissions – Growing Competition & Market Saturation
  Exploring strategies to navigate an increasingly competitive student recruitment landscape.
• Fundraising – Foundation Boards: To Have or Not To Have?
  Examining the role, value and future relevance of foundation structures in today’s advancement environment.
• Marketing & Communications – From Chaos to Clarity: Harnessing AI for High-Impact Storytelling
  Sharing practical approaches to using AI to strengthen storytelling, engagement and content creation.
