Women in Trades Conference Inspires Future Pathways

Women in Trades Conference Inspires Future Pathways

A group of our students recently attended the Women in Trades Conference at Southern Cross Catholic College, joining students from across Sydney to explore the exciting opportunities available in trade and technical careers.

Throughout the day, students heard from a range of inspiring keynote speakers and industry professionals who shared their personal journeys, challenges, and successes in traditionally male-dominated industries. The conference highlighted the growing opportunities for women in trades and encouraged students to consider a wide range of career pathways.

Students participated in panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and an Education Pathways Session, gaining valuable insights into apprenticeships, training opportunities, and careers across various trade sectors. The Career Market Expo provided an opportunity to connect directly with industry representatives and learn more about future study and employment options.

The conference’s theme, “She Builds. She Leads. She Inspires.”, resonated strongly with our students, who returned feeling motivated, empowered, and more informed about the many possibilities available to them after school.

We thank Southern Cross Catholic College for hosting this valuable event and providing our students with such an engaging and inspiring experience.
