THE CHOP FOR MATER
On Friday 28 August, twenty-one Year 12 students took part in The Chop, parting with their ponytails in what is becoming a much-loved tradition for graduating students at the College.
Their ponytails will be donated through Sustainable Salons to help create wigs for people experiencing hair loss, while students also raised $18,986 for Mater to support vital health services, research and care in our Townsville community.
We are so proud of the Class of 2026 for getting behind such a meaningful cause. If you are in a position to donate, please visit their fundraising page here.
