Enhancements to ‘Lampada’ Portal

In response to valuable feedback from the Community Engagement Parent Survey last year, Shore has introduced an array of improvements to the ‘Lampada’ portal, aimed at enhancing accessibility and usability for parents and carers. The updates were inspired by the survey’s insights, and we appreciate the active role of parents in this enhancement journey.

Key changes include:

– Streamlined Navigation: The portal’s most-used tools are now more accessible with a reorganised layout.

– Mobile-Friendly Design: An updated look ensures smooth navigation across mobile devices.

– Improved Search: With outdated content removed, finding essential information is now faster and easier.

– Categorised News: News is now organised by topic, offering quicker access to relevant updates.

– Personalised Feeds: Parents will receive news tailored to their child’s Year Group and House.

– Integrated Calendars: Lampada syncs with the new Outlook School calendar for seamless event viewing.

– Weekly Wrap-Up: A custom news summary, emailed every Wednesday, keeps parents informed. This will not replace the Shore Weekly Record or Prep Peek.

For added support, a new ‘Help’ page addresses common questions about the platform’s features.
