“The future depends on what you do today.”
Mahatma Gandhi
We look forward to working with students and their families in 2025! Careers Education is an essential component of developing the whole person to ensure students graduate with the skills, knowledge and mindset to thrive during school and beyond.
A career is more than just a job; it requires understanding oneself and the world’s needs so a positive contribution can be made. A meaningful career will ensure positive wellbeing and future success (just speak to any staff at Shore!).
The Careers support available to students and families includes:
- Careers Lampada hosts an abundance of information on courses, gap years, calendar of events, scholarship information, overseas options and more.
- Careers News will be posted in the News Section of Lampada and include upcoming deadlines, events, webinars and other information.
- Appointments for one-on-one counselling can be made through the Careers Lampada page. We ensure each student in Year 11 and Year 12 has at least one consultation.
- Lower North Shore Career Expo will be held on Monday 12 May.
- Year 11 Careers Conversations event will take place at the end of Term 3.
- Year 10 Morrisby profiling will take place during the Year 10 exam period in Term 2.
- Year 10 Work Engagement is from 24 – 28 November.
