Olympics Games
As we all eagerly settle in to watch the Olympic and Para Olympic Games in Paris over the next few weeks, all eyes will be on Sienna Green (Class of 2022) who is competing for the Australian Women’s Water Polo Team (The Stingers).

Snowsports
SCEGGS sent 42 students to compete at the Redlands Cup, Scots Cup and Sydney Interschools Regional Championships. The weather conditions were somewhat difficult at times with Divisions 1, 2 & 3 all skiing in cyclonic winds and poor visibility on the final day.
Congratulations to all competitors who represented the school so proudly. It was wonderful to see so many SCEGGS students competing across every age group and event. For many students this was their first-time racing at Interschools and they had to overcome significant nerves at the top of each race course. Everyone made it down the course and performed very well. A special mention to our youngest competitor in Year 1, Isla Homann, who competed in both Alpine and Skier Cross events.
A special thank you to Ms Smith and Ms Axford who also joined us in supporting the team and spent hours undertaking race official duties.
The absolute highlight of the week goes to Jessica Grace who placed second overall in the Division 4 Alpine and won a Silver Medal!
