Friday Film Club Returns!
I love stories! I love hearing about other people’s experiences, how they live their lives, what they think…
Sandra Hall, a Sydney film critic, agrees. She wrote, “Lovers of film exult in its ability to put you inside other people’s lives.”
I have been a passionate film-goer ever since I saw my first movie at the age of six, Anchors Aweigh, in the cavernous Regent Theatre in Melbourne with its gigantic chandelier and red velvet seats. Sadly, I can’t provide red velvet seats, but I can share bean bags, delicious afternoon tea, and some extraordinary stories on film with you.
Below is the list of films and screening dates. Screenings will be held on Fridays in S5 at 3.30pm and afternoon tea will be provided before the screening. Students will need to collect their own bean bags from the library.
(As the films are rated M or MA15+ you will need to be 15 years old to attend the screenings.)
