Festival on Forbes – 9 days to go!
Calling all Bakers – the Year 5 Cake Stall needs your help!
It wouldn’t be a SCEGGS Fair without the legendary cake stall. To make it a success we will call upon the whole of the school to contribute one type of baked or store bought item in the days leading up to the fair.
An empty cake box will be sent home with the oldest sibling from each K- 10 family next week (the week of the fair). Year 11 and 12 students are invited to pick up a box from Student Services . Please fill your empty box with a delicious home baked or store bought treat, and fill out the included sheet with the type of baked good and ingredients. (A reminder that SCEGGS is a nut-free site) We can’t wait to accept your whole cakes, muffins, loaves, slices, cupcakes, cookies and donuts! Where possible please avoid providing items which require refrigeration, as space is limited.
Baked Goods can be delivered on the following days:
Friday 23 August | 7.45am – 8.45am | usual Forbes Street car park drop off |
Friday 23 August | 2.30pm – 3.30pm | Secondary and Primary School Reception |
Saturday 24 August | between 9am and 11am 1pm and 3pm |
to the Cake Stall, located in OG 9 (behind the lawn) |
Fair day | before 10am | to the designated cake collector on Forbes Street |
SCEGGS Tote Bags
The P&F are delighted to announce that you can now pre-order your very own SCEGGS bag! All funds raised from the sales of these bags will be directed towards the Light Her Path Campaign. Pre-ordered bags may be collected from the Information Booth at the Festival on Forbes on Sunday 25 August. The bags will also be available for purchase on Fair day.
Please contact Festival on Forbes with any queries.
Book Stall
Thank you for all your amazing donations for the book stall – we have been overwhelmed!
We are now no longer able to accept any further book donations due to oversupply.
