From the Primary School SRC
Our 2026 Student Representatives have had a wonderful start to the year, with our Primary team embracing their roles and showing a genuine commitment to representing their peers, promoting student voice, and making positive changes in the school over time.
It has been wonderful to see the curiosity and collaboration across the group, particularly during our meeting with members of the Secondary School SRC. The girls asked thoughtful questions about processes and protocols in the Secondary School, shared ideas, and made meaningful connections as they began planning ways to work together and support whole-school initiatives.
We are very proud to have launched our first initiative for the year, to celebrate Harmony Week. In our meetings, we explored the importance of inclusivity, diversity, and kindness, and how these values can continue to be part of our everyday school life in alignment with our SCEGGS values. From this, the girls created Harmony Jars for each classroom. Each jar invited students to recognise acts of kindness and inclusion, celebrate differences, and acknowledge one another in meaningful ways. It has been lovely to see how positively this has been received and actioned by the Primary School girls.

We look forward to continuing to develop our leadership, representing our peers and making meaningful contributions to the Primary School.
