Secondary Cross Country Carnival
In a magnificent start to the week blessed with favourable running conditions, the Years 1 to 12 Cross Country Carnival was held with over 2000 students participating. House colours, cheers and excitement filled Main Oval. The day started with two thrilling competitive races, featuring some of our very own national cross country athletes striving for victory.
The final secondary race embodied fun and participation, with students eagerly vying for house points. Secondary students then cheered on students in Years 1 to 6 throughout their races.
The cross country squad will be finalised this week, as preparations to defend the prestigious igsa cross country title begin with the championship set to take place at Frensham in May.
