Netball
We kicked off Round 2 of igsa Netball this Saturday on a beautiful sunny day! All teams are showing improvement already with working on quick passing, tight defence and teamwork.
Congratulations to our Team of the Week – Pymble 27, playing Abbotsleigh in a fantastic game to come away with a 20 to 3 win.
On Monday 31 July Pymble Ladies’ College held the Open igsa Netball trials. Congratulations to the following students selected to attend the Trials:
Jessica Cullen (Year 10)
Charlotte Craig (Year 10)
Juliette Mouton (Year 10)
Louise Lovell (Year 10)
Congratulations to Jessica Cullen (Year 10) who was selected into the igsa Opens Netball team to compete in the CIS challenge day on Monday 21 August 2023. Best of luck to Jessica!
As we head into Round 3 of Netball, I would like to remind all students to please attend both training sessions and games on time. If your games are not at Pymble, please make sure you allow time for traffic and parking. This will ensure players have adequate time to warm-up and teams are ready to play for the start of the game.
We look forward to seeing some great display of Netball and sportsmanship both on and off the court in the next couple of weeks.
