From the Senior School
Farewell to our treasured Year 12s of 2024
As we bid farewell to our remarkable Year 12s of 2024, a wave of mixed emotions sweeps over us. We will deeply miss their good sense, their unwavering dedication and their huge efforts across every pursuit—be it academic, sporting, cultural, speaking, performing, cooking or creating. Each one of them has left an indelible mark on our community, inspiring us with their kindness and inclusivity. As they embark on new adventures, this week we celebrate the memories we’ve shared and the bright futures that await them. Thank you, Year 12s, for being such an integral part of our journey; you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, our Year 11 students have created a beautiful heart-shaped farewell, filled with personal messages expressing their appreciation and well-wishes for the Year 12s. In turn, the Year 12s have contributed to a Tree of Knowledge for Year 11, sharing invaluable advice on how to navigate their upcoming year. This exchange symbolises the strong bonds of friendship that have flourished over the past two years, highlighting the support that define our community. Together, these tributes reflect the lasting connections that will continue to thrive, even as we part ways.
On behalf of the entire Senior School team, I would like to thank you, the parents of our beautiful Year 12s and thank the students, for their wit, their willingness to try their best and their kindnesses they have shown to all of us and each other. We will miss them all dearly!

Back to the Beginning Assembly
Last Friday, students who have been with the College since Kindergarten, Year 1 or Year 2 took a delightful trip down memory lane as they presented a beautiful assembly for our youngest learners. The atmosphere was filled with joy as the little ones eagerly participated in a guessing game, singing and dancing along with their older peers. It was heartwarming to see the connections formed over the years, especially as some Year 12 students reunited with the teachers who guided them during those foundational years. During the assembly, we also celebrated students who model our College values and extended warm birthday wishes to those celebrating this week. This special gathering reminded us all of the enduring bonds we create within our school community.

Garden Party
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the Year 11 and 12 students, along with their dedicated teachers, who played a vital role in making the Garden Party a success. Their enthusiasm in selling guessing game tickets and serving countless Devonshire Teas truly showcased the wonderful effort and great community spirit on display. It was lovely to see everyone come together to create such a joyful event, fostering connections within our College family. Your hard work and commitment are greatly appreciated!
