From the Head of Senior School

As we come towards the half-way mark of the term, it is a good opportunity to reflect on how the year has started and plan for managing the upcoming weeks. The students are to be commended for their focus and commitment this year. Many of them of committed to continuing their co-curricular pursuits and others have signed up for new activities. This is in addition to maintaining their academic goals, as we approach assessment tasks later in the term.

Building Resilience

Resilience is a key term often used but how to build this is not often discussed. Please find some helpful tips from renowned psychologist Andrew Fuller by clicking here.

Many Year 11 students have nominated to participate in our Pymble-Knox Connections group, which has the first event next week. We also had strong interest from students who are considering applying for positions in our annual Sony Camp in December. It is encouraging to see so many girls exploring how they can become more involved in their community.

Year 12 Learning Discussions

A reminder to Year 12 parents that the annual Learning Discussions will be taking place on 27 February. The teachers are looking forward to the opportunity to discuss your daughter’s progress in their subjects.

A reminder that tickets are on sale for the Year 11 Formal and the Year 12 Formal. Please visit the portal to purchase before the closing date.

Year 12 recently were presented with information by Mrs O’Kelly  (Futures Advisor) about ‘What’s Next?’ for their final year of schooling.
