Events Calendar
Parents can find all College community events in the MyPymble app under the calendar tab. We encourage parents and carers to check their calendar regularly to keep aprised of the event schedule and all other happenings at the College. This week we look forward to welcoming guests from across our diverse community to the 2023 Cultural Festival – Dragon Boat Dinner.
Dragon Boat Cultural Dinner
We look forward to seeing ticketed guests tomorrow night at the College’s 2023 Cultural Festival. This year we have chosen to amplify the Dragon Boat Festival which is an important event on the calendar for our Chinese community. The event is student-led featuring performances and voices from across the year groups, and has been overwhelmingly supported by the parent community, with tickets completely sold out. Please note – there will be no tickets available to purchase on the night.
For those that are attending, please note the housekeeping matters below;
– Parking will be available onsite at the Centenary Precinct.
– The evening will start on time with performances starting at 5.30pm sharp.
– Guests are invited to wear their cultural attire or celebrate the event with a splash of green.
– There will be live performances at the event, and Main Hall is a large venue with limited acoustic suitability. Please keep noise to a minimum during the performances.
– Several activities will be available for children at the craft tables on the night.
– Toilets for the evening will be on the lower Colonnade, down the stairs from Main Hall.
Photography and videography will be taking place on the night. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please email us as soon as possible at communityengagement@pymblelc.nsw.edu.au.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Father’s Day Charity Lunch
On Friday 1 September we invite fathers and special friends to attend our annual Father’s Day Charity Lunch on Main Oval. Dads and father figures will enjoy a tasty lunch, performances from our musical groups and fun activities like tug-of-war. More information to follow shortly.
Garden Party
The whole Pymble community is invited to attend our annual Garden Party on Saturday 16 September. The event is the biggest and most anticipated on the College calendar and this year promises to bring renewed enthusiasm with exciting new attractions and of course many of the old favourites. Stay tuned for more information about how you can get involved!
