Diving
Last weekend Pymble Diving held two exciting events.
On Friday 4 August, the Competitive and Pathways divers and parents attended an information night followed by an exciting Come and Try session for keen parents.
This was an opportunity for parents to appreciate how talented their children are when it comes to soaring from heights while twisting and turning in the air.
Thank you to all parents and divers involved in this fun evening.
School Sport Australia Training (SSA)
On Saturday afternoon, Pymble Aquatic Centre came alive with 50 NSW SSA team divers and parents for an information and training session. It was inspiring to see the entire team training in the pool and displaying the depth of talent present in NSW.
We wish our Pymble divers Angela Xenofontos (Year 9), Zara Ware (Year 4) and Emily Long (Year 4) all the best for SSA which will be held from Monday 21 August Sunday 27 August in Sydney.
Matt Mitcham Interclub – Sunday 20 August
Training is in full swing for the first Interclub of the 2023/2024 Diving season. A reminder to all divers entering this event that Diving NSW registration is due as is registration for the Matt Mitcham event on Sunday 20 August at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. Dive sheets will be entered by coaching staff this week, so please ensure this date is clearly marked in the calendar.
