National Level 7 NSW Team representative – Aimee Yap (Year 7)

From Monday 26 to Saturday 29 June, we travelled to Brisbane to attend the Border Challenge National Competition at the Sleeman Arena.  Aimee Yap (Year 7) represented New South Wales in a team of six gymnasts.  Aimee placed 9th Overall and the NSW team finished in 7th position.  This was a great experience for Aimee and her first National experience.

NL5 to 7 Practice competition

Our Level 5 to 7 gymnasts attended a practice competition at All the Way Up Gymnastics in Brookvale.  Our Pymble gymnasts were able to compete in a friendly environment and receive feedback from the judges on their performance.  The gymnasts had a great time taking on constructive feedback for the upcoming State Trial on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July.

Foam Pit Clean out

While the gymnastics program was closed for a week from Monday 10 to Thursday 13 July, the gymnastics and sport staff emptied the 135 cubic metre foam pit.  A huge amount of old foam was removed, the foam pit and under the trampoline was cleaned to the very bottom and refilled with new foam.  This was a huge job and thank you to everyone who helped.
