AFL
Over the weekend we had the final round of AFL matches. Pymble 1 took the field against Barker College in the Division 1 Grand-final. With a huge crowd the Senior First side put on their best display of the season, taking out the premiership with a 29 to 7 win! Pymble 1 now qualify for State Championships which will take place later in the year.
Our mighty Pymble 4 intermediate side, who were undefeated this season, came up against a strong Ravenswood, in the Division 1 Grand-final. The conditions did not suit our Pymble team and Ravenswood dug deep to get a well-deserved win.
Pymble 6 played in a Lightening Round Robin carnival and unfortunately, even though being undefeated, lost one of their matches to St Catherine’s School which resulted in them being crowned the division runners up.
Pymble 7 had the opposite experience, after only winning one match all year they were able to put together a great performance on Saturday making their way to the carnival Grand-final. Our Pymble Footballers finally clicked as a team and were able to come away with a division two premiership. Well done Pymble 7!
