Tour 2024 – Spain and Portugal
Thank you for your Expressions of Interest in joining us on our exciting tour to Spain and
Portugal in December 2024. We had an overwhelming response and will therefore need to decide how best to create effective, musical ensemble balance. This will be done in the coming weeks, and we will confirm positions with you as soon as we are able.

Thank You to Our String Quartet And Flute Trio
Our college String Quartet performed beautifully at the Year 12 Visual Arts Exhibition last week, providing a stunning backdrop of music to our very talented artists. Annie Luo, Charli Conn, Charlotte Wykes and Sitian Chen were our featured musicians and ably prepared by Mr Rossman. The next gig for the College Quartet will be at the Year 12 Valedictory Dinner on September 21.
Chloe Lam, Hayley Lam, and Irissa Han provided music for one of the Open Evenings held recently. Although they are a newly formed trio, they demonstrated musical maturity and technical prowess – well done girls!

HSC Music Night
Join us on Friday 1 September for an evening with the HSC Music Courses students. They will each perform one piece from their repertoire before presenting to external markers on 6 and 7 September. This concert will commence at 5.00pm in the Music Gallery. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating our musical students.
Studio Concerts
Congratulations to the students of Mrs Jones, Ms Worth and Ms Bryce. The piano students performed on Monday night to proud parents in the Music Gallery. The singing students performed for the Mark Moran Nursing Home residents on Friday night. It was a glowing success to see Pymble Gives Back in action. The Nursing Home residents were most appreciative, and the girls were able to meet famous Mezzo Soprano Lauris Elms.

Thank You
Our Hindson Chamber String Ensemble performed two pieces at the Junior School Open Morning to showcase their talent and provide a beautiful backdrop of music. Thanks to Mrs Colbey for preparing the girls and conducting them so well.

Congratulations
