Archdale Debating
This Tuesday a virtual make up round was held for Round 5 Pymble versus Loreto Kirribilli, Year 10 only were required. Next week will be a tie breaker round and any teams involved will be notified by Co-curricular Administration. Parents are encouraged to check their daughters schedule on the MyPymble app regularly for full details.
Sydney Social Debating (SSD)
SSD competition will resume tomorrow at Pymble from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Students should meet their coaches in C10.
Term 2 registrations do not carry over into Term 3 and all Term 2 Social Debaters need to re-enrol. Registrations were sent to all who expressed interest. We are pleased to offer this developmental level comp to our 7 to 11 girls again this term. Thank you to our student coaches and our adjudicators.
New Junior Social Debating Competition
It has been decided to offer a four-week Social Debating Competition to Year 6 students commencing on Friday 25 August. Please send an email expressing interest to BHubbard@pymblelc.nsw.edu.au. This will also run on a Friday from 3.30pm to 6.30pm from C 10, Middle School. Co-curricular Administration will send further details and registration forms to all who have emailed Mrs Hubbard.
International Debating Championship
Registrations will be sent to all who expressed interest to Mrs Hubbard. This competition commences in Term 4.

PMUN
PMUN studemts have been invited to the newly formed Knox MUN every Thursday 4.00pm to 5.00pm. This will not be a Pymble activity and now, Pymble coaches will not accompany any student wishing to attend as Knox staff supervise the event.
UN Negotiations
Well done to Maya Garg (Year 10) and June Yoon (Year 11) who completed their second round in the UN Negotiations competition. They await results.
Legacy
Congratulations to Jenny Xu (Year 9) and Leahara Wijesuriya (Year 7) who spoke at Queenwood on 3 August. Both students progressed to the regional finals to be held at The Arts Unit, Lewisham later this month. These students did us Pymble Proud!

Coach News
Farewell and best wishes to our Language Arts coach Kayleigh Li who moves to the United States to commence her studies at Stanford University. Thank you to Kayleigh for all her work with our students. She will be replaced with Eve Beck. Eve has experience in organising TEDx speaking events for teenagers.
