Round 2 of igsa Hockey over the weekend saw some close and exciting games. 

Our Senior Firsts had a nail biter game against Ascham which finished in a 1 to 1 draw. Following the trend, our Year 7 Firsts also has a draw against Loreto Kirribilli. 

Congratulations to our Pymble 2 team who defeated Ascham 2 to 1. Our Pymble 3 Team dominated the field in a 3 to 0 win over Frensham.

The Team of the Week goes to Pymble 4 who came away with a 4 to 1 win over Loreto Kirribilli. Two of our Argentinian exchange students, Justi Pinto Servente (Year 10) and Manuela Romero Victorica (Year 10), play in Pymble 4 and have proven to be a wonderful asset to the team.

Best of luck to all players as we head into Round 3. Our Senior Firsts will play away as they take on Ravenswood at Homebush Olympic Pitch at 10.00am. Our Junior Firsts will go up against Abbotsleigh at Pennant Hills Park at 9.00am. 

Under 18s Australian Futures Squad selection

Congratulations to our Pymble Hockey Captain, Amalia Patterson (Year 12), who has been selected into the U18’s Australian Futures Squad. 

Amalia’s classy display of skills and ability set her up to be identified and targeted for the 2032 Olympic Games. 

This is an incredible achievement and certainly something her peers will look up to.
