Congratulations to Leahara Wijesuriya and Jenny Xu who have progressed to Rostrum Regionals. They will compete at Abbotsleigh on Wednesday 17 May.

ISDA Octo Finals This Week

Pymble will host an Octo round this Friday in the KM Building. Congratulations to our Primary B, Year 7 and Year 9 teams who have made it through to the ISDA Finals.

Primary B will debate at Kambala this week. Please note that transport is not arranged by the school for finals rounds. Year 7 and Year 9 will compete this week at Pymble.

Mrs Hubbard is looking for extra girls to be chairs and timekeepers at Pymble. Please email her if you can assist.

FED

There is no FED this week and FED teams making it to the Finals rounds will be announced next week.

Thank you to all debaters who competed in the seven preliminary rounds and were part of a FED of ISDA team. Thank you to all parents supporting your daughters in this valuable cocurricular activity.

Archdale

The Archdale Debating comp starts on Tuesday 16 May with R1 and 8 teams. This comp runs on Tuesday afternoons and evenings. Please ensure your daughter is registered. CCSA will release the draw.

Social Debating

This competition will start on Friday 5 May. Please ensure registrations are completed. This competition will run on a Friday at Pymble from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Please meet in C10.

House Debating

A new House Debating comp started last term. Thanks to Isabella Cameron, our LA prefect for resurrecting this initiative. Finals are to be held early in Term 2. Cups will be presented.

Sydney University Debating Day

Senior debaters are invited to attend this event on 2 June. Thank you to those who have registered interest. Co-curricular Administration will send through registrations.

Mock Law

Our Mock Law coaches and teams had a successful start to their season last term. All the best to our Mock lawyers for Term 2 rounds. Scenarios have now been released.

Evatt

We currently have six teams interested in Evatt next term. The tentative date is 22 May at PLC Sydney. Girls in Year 9 to 12 enter this competition in pairs. Co-curricular Administration will send registrations.

Discover MUN

Discover MUN will be held at UNSW on Thursday 25 May. This is only for Senior Students.
