From the Co-curricular Performing Arts Team

This week has seen the Pymble Arts community in full throttle.

The iconic amphitheatre in the heart of the Secondary School has resonated with the performances of students from Years 7 to 12 with passionate, compelling and often courageous performances in the annual PAC event which has been recognised and celebrated with standing-room-only audiences at every lunchtime performance this week.

Hats must be doffed in respect to the PAC Prefects, Piper Markson and Claire Oslington, who have expertly and independently led this event.

Various venues around the school have reverberated with the musical and dancing rhythms of students involved in the Dance intensive weekend. It was a privilege to witness many of the rehearsals which culminated in the exciting progress final concert on Sunday night attended by hundreds of family supporters.

Drama classes and competitions under the leadership of Sarah Boyd continue apace in exciting directions and the many competition events of Language Arts are in the initial stages of preparation.

Anchors away and full steam ahead for Term 2!
