Week 4 

Congratulations to the Junior School parents, who, to date this year, secured the most tickets sold for a concert within the GMCPA. The Junior School Ensemble Concert sold 522 seats and monies made will be used to help support the purchasing of instruments, as well as composition commissions and other necessities our ensembles require.

Dates for your diaries – Term 4  

Friday 7 November – College Quartet and pianist to play at the Sports Awards Dinner at Miramare Gardens. 5.15pm to 6.00pm.  

Tuesday 11 November – Jazz Ensemble to perform at the Visual Arts Event. 5.30pm to 6.00pm.  

Tuesday 11 November – Jacaranda Assembly – String Orchestra (please remember instruments) and Capella Chamber Choir to perform  

Sunday 30 November – College Carols. Join us for a sing along and some performances in the Chapel. A special visit from Santa between 6.00pm and 6.30pm. Please bring a BYO picnic, or order a BBQ dinner from the Music Support Group. Tickets can be purchased using the QR code on the poster included in the Newsletter. 

Tuesday 2 December – Junior School Speech Day (Junior School Choir, Capella Chamber Choir, Grainger Concert Band and Hindson Chamber Strings)  

Wednesday 3 December – Secondary School Speech Day (Pymble Chorale, School Choir and Symphonic Wind Ensemble).  

Thursday 4 December – Pymble Chorale to perform with The Idea of North at the Concourse in Chatswood. Please check emails from Mr Schweinberger for details.
