From the Senior School
From the Head of Senior School – Mrs Nikki Wyse
It is wonderful to welcome our Senior School families back for Term 4. I hope everyone enjoyed the chance to recharge and create special memories together over the break. I have included some photographs of the joyful final celebrations for our Year 12 students at the end of last term. I was immensely proud of the way these girls graduated from the College, displaying deep pride in their achievements and heartfelt gratitude for their experiences and contributions over the years.
HSC begins
A special welcome back to our Year 12 students who began their HSC examinations last Thursday, starting with English Paper 1. I am confident that the girls are well prepared and will approach the coming weeks with the strength of character and calm assurance they have always displayed. The staff are available to offer support should students or families have any questions or concerns during the examination period. It is important that your daughter maintains balance at this time by keeping a positive mindset, ensuring good sleep, regular exercise, healthy eating and continuing to allocate time to spend time with friends and family.

Year 12 2026
We also extend a warm welcome to our new Year 12 cohort as they commence their final year of academic courses this term. Having chosen their program of study, it is wise to begin with strong routines and steady habits that will sustain a healthy mindset throughout the year. The challenge of Year 12 becomes far more manageable when approached with organisation and balance.
I encourage all girls to continue engaging with their co-curricular passions, as these activities enrich their school experience and bring a sense of joy and fulfilment alongside academic effort. Working collaboratively with each other and building connections and friendships across the year group continues to be a key focus; as I mentioned to the girls in assembly this week, ‘If you want to go fast, go alone…if you want to go far, go together.’
There was much excitement and anticipation last week as the girls celebrated with their parents at the Induction Ceremony for Year 12s, as our new student leaders. Later that day, they received their jerseys and have been wearing them with pride this last week.

Year 12 Information Night
Many thanks to the parents who attended the Information Night this week. We hope that you found the presentation engaging and informative; it is always wonderful to strengthen connections with you, and we truly value the partnership, especially throughout your daughter’s final year of schooling. For those who were unable to attend, the recording of the presentation will be made available on the portal later this week.
Pymble – Knox Social Connections
Our term began on a wonderful note last week with our Social Connections event alongside Knox Grammar students. The afternoon included a presentation from alumni of both schools who offered valuable insights into navigating Year 12 and establishing sound study foundations. This was followed by friendly competition at Hijinx Hotel, where students enjoyed laser tag, bowling, arcade games and challenge rooms. The girls represented the College with warmth and enthusiasm, and I was proud of the way they conducted themselves. Sincere thanks to our alumni Claire and Maddy (ESU 2024) for sharing their advice and to the team of dedicated staff who accompanied the girls.
