Athletics
Term 2 brings the start of our Athletics season with the Junior School Athletics Carnival held later in the Term. If you would like your daughter to be prepared for the carnival, please have a look at the Junior School Carnival Training timetable below. You may register your daughter for this program through MyPymble – registrations close at 12.00pm (Midday) on Wednesday12 April.

Our lead Sprints Coach and former Olympian Melinda Gainsford-Taylor will also run an “Explosive Speed Clinic” during the holidays (see flyer attached) and Weekly Speed Clinics at Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4.00pm to 5.00pm. IPSHA Cross Country
On Saturday 1 April, the IPSHA Cross Country was held at The Kings School Parramatta. Pymble had 20 students competing at the Carnival and all athletes performed extremely well in beautiful autumn conditions. A big thank you to Mrs Deb Walsham, Miss Laura Verlinden and our Athletics Coaches who helped with training and preparation leading up to and on the day of the event. Please see results below:
