2024 NSW Junior Metropolitan Championship

On the weekend of Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November, nine talented Pymble girls competed in the 2024 NSW Junior Metropolitan Championship held at Sydney Olympic Park. It was an action-packed weekend filled with exceptional performances, personal bests (PBs), and a series of impressive top ten finishes.

The hard work and dedication of the junior team were evident throughout the meet, with many standout swims showcasing the growth and skill development of each swimmer. The coaches were extremely impressed with the commitment and effort shown by all athletes.

One of the highlights of the weekend was Puisai Victoria Ko (Year 6), who secured a bronze medal in the 12 Years 50m Breaststroke. This achievement added to her stellar performances where she also finished sixth in the 12 Years 200m Breaststroke and fifth in the 12 Years 100m Breaststroke.

The Knox Pymble Swim Club wrapped up the weekend securing third place in the overall point score ranking.

Congratulations to all the Pymble swimmers who participated in the 2024 NSW Junior Metropolitan Championships: Vera Le (Year 4), Emma Wang (Year 5), Rose Wang (Year 4), Chenxuan Yu (Year 7), and Jiayi Wu (Year 6).

The team’s spirit was truly remarkable, and it was fantastic to close out the year with such an exciting and fun weekend of competition.

A big thank you goes to the junior coaching team for their incredible support and guidance throughout the event. Additionally, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the parents who have supported and assisted not only this weekend, but throughout the entire year.
