From the Middle School
Last Friday, we hosted Links Day for our incoming 2025 Year 7 students. It was a wonderful day that showcased all things Middle School. I would like to acknowledge the many students who acted as ambassadors for the College and truly made all our visitors feel most welcome. Our Transition Leaders were outstanding. I would like to give a particular thank you and congratulate Amber Lewis and Jessie Li who addressed the cohort, sharing their own transition experiences and encouraging everyone to embrace the many opportunities on offer.

Last Friday, across the College, the girls had a chance to attend the Have a Go Expo at lunchtime. This was a fantastic introduction to an enormous suite of opportunities. Hopefully, your daughters have come away excited about their future co-curricular activities. So many friendships and wider connections happen as a result of joining after-school activities and we are very fortunate to have so many choices.

The team is progressing through our Middle School leadership interviews. The confidence and initiative of the candidates continues to impress. Hopefully, next week we will be able to finalise the positions and share this with our community.
Rianne Leung (Year 8) travelled to Melbourne to attend the Australian Open Women’s Foil Fencing Circuit #2 last Friday. Rianne made it to the podium and was awarded a prestigious Silver Medal.
