School Sport Australia Swimming Championships
School Sport Australia held their Swimming Championships at Southport Aquatic Centre, Gold Coast, from Sunday 28 to Wednesday 31 July. Tuesday was dedicated to team bonding for the swimmers, and sunny Queensland did not disappoint with the weather!
Pymble had three athletes competing: Lily Barlow (Year 11), Megan Chia (Year 8), and Sarah Tian (Year 10). They represented the NSW team against other states across Australia, along with competitors from the Cook Islands and Fiji, adding an international flavour to the competition. Heats were held in the morning, with finals in the afternoon.

All swimmers did an outstanding job representing their state and school in a highly competitive setting. It was a fantastic week filled with great memories and impressive performances. A big thank you to the parents for their support and to the school providing the opportunity for our girls to attend this successful meet.
