Interstate Exchange Competition

Congratulations to Pymble students Zara Cooke (Year 10) and Kiera Mironova (Year 11) who competed at the Interstate Exchange Competition from Wednesday 31 July through to Friday 2 August at Cranbrook School. This competition saw our students represent NSWCIS and play against teams from Queensland, NSWCCC, and NSWCHS. NSWCIS finished with a 14 to 10 win over the Queensland School team in the grand finale, securing the gold. Well done!

Northern Suburbs Competition

Great work to our Year 7 Northern Suburbs team who secured their second strong win of the season 11 to 0 over Stella Maris College, and also to our opens team that came away with a 19 to 1 win over the MLC School.

Special shout out to our Intermediate team that on Monday 5 August came away with a three all draw with Stella Maris College. The team had no reserves and continued to push through their fatigue to the end!

Our goal scorers: Eleanor Rowe (Year 8) with a fantastic off the hand shot, Alexandra Warren (Year 9) with a strong five metre penalty, and Gemma Dixon (Year 8) grabbing an outside top corner shot right on the last second of the fourth quarter. Fantastic! Pymble is placed second going into the semifinals next Monday 12 August.
