Badminton
Well done to all our Badminton players over the weekend. Yet again, we had some great results and a lot of wins.
Our Senior teams dominated this weekend, which has given our players extra confidence leading into round four this weekend.
Congratulations to our Senior First team for coming away with another win.
Elina Wu (Year 12) has been an outstanding role model as the 2023 Badminton Captain to all our Badminton players this term.
Elina and I had a chance to chat to some players last Saturday, and here is what they had to say;
What do you love about Badminton?
“We love the social aspect. The coaches are supportive and friendly”.
“They are like our family, big Badminton family”.
“It provides the exercise we need”.
“I have made friends from Badminton”.
“It clears my mind from studying”.
“Even though we are all at different levels, everyone is very inclusive”.
Would you encourage your friends to play badminton?
“Of course, because we interact more and become closer to our teammates”.
“Yes! we can bond as friends and grow and improve together”.
“Yes, it challenges yourself to try something new”.
“Yes, it has been a great opportunity for older and younger players to interact more”.
It is always so wonderful to hear students enjoying themselves and finding a love for sport. It is without a doubt the reason why Badminton continues to grow every year at Pymble.
Wishing our Pymble Badminton players, the very best of luck heading into this weekend’s round.
