From the Community Engagement Team
Happy International Women’s Day (for tomorrow…) to our Pymble community.
It is with mixed emotions that I announce I am leaving Pymble. It has been an incredible journey, and I am truly grateful for the experiences, collaborations, and memories I have built with the College community.
Reflecting on the past eight and a half years, I am humbled by the opportunity to have been part of such a dedicated and passionate team of professionals at Pymble, especially the Community Engagement team which I have been proud to lead, and who will always have a special place in my heart.

I would also like to express my gratitude to you – our wonderful community of parents and carers – many of whom I have worked closely with over the years, for your commitment to our mission and vision and giving up countless hours to volunteer your time to support the College. Working with such a passionate group has been one of the highlights of my time at Pymble, and I am proud of all that we have done together for our own community, and those who need it most via our charity fundraising.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to you for your support, friendship, and dedication. I know that the Pymble community will continue to flourish, and I wish you all the very best for the future.
While I am leaving Pymble as a staff member, I remain a Pymble parent and a huge cheerleader for this amazing school, and so I know I will continue to bump into you around campus or on the sporting fields.
Tomorrow marks my final day with the College, coinciding fittingly with International Women’s Day. I take great pride in our collective efforts over the years, emphasising the imperative of advancing gender equity. Pymble stands as a forward-thinking organisation, and I appreciate the support from our board and senior leadership team. Their backing has empowered our marketing and communications initiatives to utilise our influence for the greater good, advocating for positive global change, especially concerning issues affecting girls and women. As this is my final newsletter column, I am delighted to highlight the official launch of our 2024 International Women’s Day (IWD) campaign tomorrow.
This year, we are again undertaking significant and courageous initiatives to drive meaningful change for our girls and all young women now, and in the years to come. Our objective is to persist in leveraging our influence positively to convey a powerful message to corporate Australia. Our girls, rightfully, anticipate an equitable playing field in the professional world, and we realise that true impact requires stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing transformative actions.
For a sneak peek you can view our 2024 International Women’s Day campaign on our website, including our ongoing partnership with the Australian Financial Review. We have created the second edition of our IWD Magazine for the business world celebrating the strengths and skills of incredible female role models, our Pymble girls and alumni and highlighting areas where we have made considerable progress and those that still need work as we aim for true equality.
Thank you once again for being a part of this incredible journey.
It’s our time. Watch us change the world.
