Sportswomen Awards Dinner
On Friday 3 November the Jazz ensemble and Stage Band performed for the Sports Women Awards Dinner, which was held at Miramare Gardens. I was so proud of the students as they showcased all that music can do, alongside the other busy discipline of sport. Zara Sandham is one of those students who seems to be good at both – she played her saxophone ably, before quickly changing and sitting at her table to receive her sports award.
Thanks to Mr Stafford and Ms Ashton for preparing the girls so well and to Mr Karl Schmidt for helping us transport the gear to Miramare Gardens.
Tour 2024 to Spain/Portugal
