UR Strong Friendship Day

On Thursday of Week 10, our Junior School celebrated URSTRONG Friendship Day, a special day dedicated to strengthening friendships and fostering a culture of kindness and connection. URSTRONG is our Junior School friendship program, designed to support students in navigating the ups and downs of relationships by providing them with a shared language for building healthy, respectful friendships.

The morning followed the usual timetable before students took part in engaging friendship lessons and discussions. After lunch, the Festival of Friendship saw students choose from a range of creative and active activities, including friendship bracelets, kindness rocks, board games, music, chalk art, soccer and more. A spirited staff versus Year 6 soccer match was another highlight, bringing plenty of fun and laughter to the day.

It was wonderful to see students connecting across year groups and celebrating positive friendships. Thank you to Valentine Meyerson for helping coordinate the afternoon activities, and to our staff for making the day such a memorable celebration of friendship.
