CGSSSA Touch Football

A huge congratulations to the MSCW Junior and Senior Touch Football Teams for their outstanding performance at the CGSSSA Invitational Touch Football Championships!

Competing against private schools including Monte, Stella, Brigidine, OLMC and Loreto, our players displayed sharp attacking moves, lightning-fast passes and smart strategies that showcased their incredible skill and teamwork throughout the day.

Special congratulations to the Junior Team, who claimed the championship title!

SCS Flag Football

Congratulations to the MSCW Junior Flag Football Team (Years 7/8).

At the first SCS Flag Football Championship, our Juniors shone with sharp passing, precise routes, smooth handoffs and evasive moves like zig zags, stutter step and spins. On defence, they showed grit with quick flag pulling, strong coverage and disciplined zone play.  

Although the grand final was decided by just 2 points, the team’s skill, resilience and true MSCW Spirit made this a proud and memorable achievement.

SCS Conference 2 Futsal Championship

Congratulations to the MSCW Junior and Senior Futsal Teams on their incredible performance, going undefeated throughout the Conference 2 Futsal competition at Concord Oval Recreation Centre. Their dominance on the court was clear with exceptional ball control, sharp passing, precise shooting and smart tactical play made them unstoppable.

Sydney Junior Futsal Championships 

The MSCW Junior Futsal team dominated Conference 2 without a single loss, clinching their spot at the Sydney Championships. Facing fierce rivals, they displayed skill, grit, and teamwork, finishing proudly in 3rd place.

Oztag

Huge congratulations to our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Oztag teams! What a phenomenal Term 4 season it has been. The Junior and Senior squads claimed the Conference 2 Championships, while the Intermediate team fought hard to finish as runners-up.

Across the competition, all three teams showcased brilliant gameplay, sharp short passing, clever wrap plays and deceptive dummy half moves that kept opponents on the back foot. Their teamwork and skill truly lit up the field.

Mixed Oztag

Congratulations to our Junior and Intermediate Mixed Oztag teams from Marist Sisters’ and Holy Cross! What an incredible season it has been, showcasing the true spirit of teamwork, friendship, and collaboration. Players from both schools came together, building strong connections and lasting bonds both on and off the field.

A special thank you to the Holy Cross boys for the respect and outstanding behaviour shown towards our MSCW students, your sportsmanship is a shining reflection of your school values.


Junior Volleyball

Congratulations to the MSCW Junior Volleyball Team! In their very first season reaching the finals, the team went undefeated throughout all Conference 2 round games, showing incredible determination and skill. Their consistency and teamwork earned them a spot in the finals, where they proudly secured third place overall.  This achievement is especially remarkable as it marks the first time MSCW has had a Volleyball team qualify for the finals. 

A fantastic milestone and a testament to the students’ hard work, spirit, and commitment.

 

Sydney Championships Cricket

Congratulations to the MSCW Junior and Senior Cricket teams!
 
At the Sydney Championships, both teams faced the toughest competition and rose to the challenge with remarkable skill, teamwork and determination. The Junior team proudly claimed the title of runners up, while the Senior team achieved an impressive 4th place finish.

The MSCW Junior and Senior Oztag teams stormed through Conference 2 undefeated, earning their place at the Sydney Championships. Against the toughest competition, they showcased incredible talent and determination, with both the Junior and Intermediate teams securing 3rd place.

Congratulations to the MSCW Mountain Biking Team! Our riders proudly represented MSCW at the Sydney Catholic Schools Mountain Biking Championships held at Mt Annan Botanical Gardens. Facing challenging trails and technical courses, the team showed remarkable skill and determination. From smooth gear changes to powering up steep climbs and confidently navigating fast descents.
