SYDNEY SENIOR FOOTBALL FINAL
In the Sydney Senior Football final, Marist Sisters’ College faced off against St John Bosco College Engadine. Both teams showed great football skills, making it an exciting match.
MSCW scored early with a fantastic goal from a pass on the left wing. This goal boosted their confidence and the 75 MSCW supporters added to the atmosphere at Sydney United Sports Centre.
St John Bosco College Engadine tried hard to make a comeback, but MSCW strong defence held firm. In the end, MSCW won 2-0 and became the 2024 Sydney Senior Football champions.

MSCW COLLEGE
The weather was perfect and provided outstanding conditions for track and field events for MSCW students. Participation, once again, from all students in all houses was off the charts and several records were broken.
Results and records will be announced at the next Principal’s Assembly on Wednesday 21 August.
Thank you to all the staff who helped make the carnival enjoyable for all and congratulations to all students on their enthusiasm and their MSCW spirit throughout the day.
ALL SCHOOLS CROSS COUNTRY
Congratulations to Ella (Year 12 student) for her impressive performance athlete NSW All Schools Cross Country Championships at the International Equestrian Centre.
Competing against students from both private and public schools, she finished 36th.

FOOTLOCKER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Congratulations to Izabella (Year 8 Student) for representing NSW at the U16 Australian National Basketball Championship in Melbourne, where she finished 7th in Australia!

NSW ALL SCHOOLS RUGBY
Congratulations to Ellie (Year 12 student) who represented NSW CCC at the 2024 Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League Championships in Coffs Harbour. This event was a memorable experience for her, competing against other states and vying for a spot on the Australian Schoolgirls’ team.

Congratulations to Erin (Year 8) for representing NSW at the NSW All Schools U16’s Rugby 7’s Championships in QLD. As the youngest member of the team, she played against the best players from Catholic, Public, and Private schools in NSW.

The annual MSCW Cross Country Carnival was held on Tuesday 7 May.
A very big congratulations to the 156 students for their outstanding participation at the recent Cross Country Carnival.
The House with the most participation points was Colin in 1st with Marcellin 2nd and Perroton 3rd.
