HSC Study sessions
WSU Free Online HSC Study Sessions September 30 to October 4, 2024
From Monday 30th September to Friday 4th October 2024, Western Sydney University will be offering a range of online study sessions to assist Year 12 students in their preparations for the HSC. Delivered by highly qualified senior teachers with 24 free sessions across 15 key HSC subject areas, the sessions will include content analysis, tips and strategies, and a detailed exploration of key syllabus and curriculum areas.
Students also have the opportunity to sit a practice exam and deconstruction, with feedback and advice from experts. Find out more

UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture Portfolio Entry Workshop

Join staff and academics to learn more about submitting a portfolio for a range of degrees across the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture for 2025. The scheme provides early conditional offers with an adjusted ATAR entry requirement that is up to 10 points lower than the usual selection rank for a particular degree. This allows you to showcase your passion and talent in addition to your ATAR score. In this interactive session we will provide tips and examples on what you need to submit and how to apply.

George Murrell Shoulders Scholarship

The team at George Murrell Shoulders is thrilled to present the George Murrell Shoulders Scholarship, valued at $500. This scholarship is open to both domestic and international students at the primary, secondary, or tertiary level, currently enrolled in any university or institute in NSW. Designed to help alleviate the financial burden of education, this scholarship supports students in their academic journey.
Recipients of the George Murrell Shoulders Scholarship will be announced by August 25th, 2024.
Bond University Leadership Scholarship

Our Leadership Scholarships aim to recognise current Year 12 students who have outstanding leadership experience and community involvement with a partial-fee tuition remission scholarship.

KSP Poetry Awards
Opens: June 24, 2024 Closes: September 25, 2024
Annual poetry competition for Australian writers, which is free for youth to enter thanks to sponsorship from the Shire of Mundaring. Entries must be original and unpublished. All poetry styles and themes are acceptable.
There are three categories to enter:
- Youth KSP Poetry Awards (10 to 17 years) – Free, one poem per entrant
- Open KSP Poetry Awards (18 years plus) – $10 per poem, no limit on entries
- Annette Cameron Encouragement Award (unpublished WA residents only, 18 years plus) – $10, one poem per entrant
