Year 9 Commerce

Market Day 21 November 2025

Despite the rain, this year’s Market Day lived up to previous years and was again a major highlight for the school community. Year 9 Commerce students brought energy, creativity, and entrepreneurial flair transforming the hall into a bustling hub of stalls, colour, and excitement.

As part of the Year 9 Commerce course, students spent the last six weeks in preparation for  “Running their own Business” on Market Day.  They each created their own business model where they worked collaboratively to design products, develop marketing strategies, and manage budgets.

From sweet to savoury each stall reflected the unique ideas and personalities of the students behind it. The atmosphere was vibrant, with students enthusiastically engaging with their peers, teachers, and staff, all while putting their business knowledge into practice.

The students raised $3,197.95 that will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation giving students the chance to see how their enterprise can make a real difference beyond the classroom.

Congratulations to Year 9 Commerce on a fantastic Market Day. Their creativity, resilience, and enthusiasm made the event a memorable celebration of learning in action.
